Whenever my friends and I hang out, we like to play this fun game where we draw a comic together one page at a time. The twist is you can only look at the page before yours, giving you no context for the rest of the story and allowing the narrative to go in hilarious, unexpected directions.
If you'd like to see some examples, I played the game with a ton of people during the Too Many Games 2024 meetup:
I've always thought the game would work extremely well online, so I've decided to start The Pass the Page Comic Collab!
How It'll Work:
- Who does what page will be decided in a random order
- When it's your turn I will message you and ask if you're free to complete a page
- After you agree I will send you both a comic page and a blank template
- Continue the story from where the comic page left off
- Message your completed page back to me within 48 hours
Specifications:
- 600x800 pixel PNG
- Any skill level, style, and medium welcome
- You can sign your Newgrounds account name on the page or remain anonymous
- 18+ only, as the humor can get kind of raunchy
Once completed, I will upload the assembled comic to the art portal. I will add you onto the submission as a collaborator by default, so if you'd like to remain uncredited, let me know.
The sign up deadline is January 16th at 11:59 PM EST (just over 2 weeks from now). I'm hoping to actually start the collab on January 17th.
